The Reva Tag Acquisition family of products enable scalable deployment of RFID for production operations in any environment and deliver the accurate, actionable data that enterprises need to create ROI from RFID implementations.
The TAP 331 is built to deliver the benefits of RFID Network Infrastructure at facilities that require modest numbers of RFID readers. The TAP 331 is ideally suited for deployment at small or remote sites with no IT support such as retail outlets, transportation and logistics monitoring points, supplier shipping docks, branch offices and temporary operations. The TAP 331 model has also been installed by customers operating satellite processing centers, small manufacturing plants and RFID start-up sites. Additionally, METRO Group retailers in Europe is using TAP 331 models in about 160 retail store locations in Germany as the basis for RFID supply chain applications in the first phase of their rollout which began in September of 2007.
Each TAP 331 supports up to 32 read points (8 conventional 4-antenna RFID readers and other RF devices) along with printers, general input / output (GPIO) devices and other sensors.
The Reva TAP 331 is the right RFID Network Infrastructure choice for multi-site production deployments where only a few readers are required at each facility. TAP 331s provide a seamless upgrade path as device needs expand at individual facilities. Scalability is achieved by either adding additional TAP 331s to share the reader and processing load or by upgrading the installation to a TAP 701 model that uses the same configuration file and management console software.

The TAP 331 is a compact rack-mountable network device that is suitable for standalone deployment or installation in a wiring closet environment, occupying 1RU of height when mounted in a standard 19-inch rack. The TAP supports standard and application-specific interfaces for RFID data access and may be deployed with fixed and mobile readers from many well known reader vendors. The Reva Management Console software accompanies each TAP and is compatible with the Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional and XP Professional operating systems.
